Dr. Ikechukwu I. Umeh FNCS

Dr. Ikechukwu Innocent Umeh (PhD), FNCS, FIMPD, is a highly accomplished professional in the field of computer science and information technology in Nigeria. He founded PA-CENT Technologies Limited, a renowned ICT firm, in 1999, providing top-quality services and training thousands of individuals and groups. In 2012, he transitioned to academia, becoming the head of the Information Technology department at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Dr. Umeh is a licensed ICT professional and a Fellow of the Institute of Management and Policy Development (FIMPD) and the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS). He has authored two books, presented papers at international conferences, and actively contributed to technology development and youth empowerment. He’s received over 40 merit awards and founded DIUSCADI (Dr. Ikechukwu Umeh Career Development Initiative) in 2020 to empower graduating students.

His extensive leadership roles in various organizations, including the Nigerian Association of Computing Students (NACOS) and his philanthropic contributions in sports, demonstrate his commitment to community and education. Dr. Umeh’s achievements and accolades underscore his significant impact in the Nigerian ICT and academic landscape.
